Talk to your dr, but I recommend staying on. With the pill you know almost exactly when your period starts and when it's over. Cramping can be less, too. Plus I have heard that being on the pill cuts down on the risk of some cancers? Also, starting and stopping the pill is never a good idea. If he is in town, you need to use something, right?
